A complete sheet metal chain since 1956

Guret is where the Aries Group started. For almost seventy years the Brignais plant has cut, bent, welded, painted and assembled thin and mid-thickness sheet metal for French and European machine builders.

Everything happens on one site: Trumpf lasers, LVD press brakes with automatic tool changing, welding stations, a powder coating line and an assembly hall. A part can go from flat sheet to a painted, assembled and packed sub-assembly without leaving the plant.

A local engineering team turns your drawings into production — feasibility, flat patterns, welding jigs, PPAP files — and stays your contact through the series. When volumes grow or parts get heavier, our plants in Slovakia take over with the same methods.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What thickness do you work?
Thin and mid-thickness sheet: from about 0.5 mm up to the 20 mm range for laser cutting, depending on the material. Heavier plate goes to our sister plants in Slovakia.
Do you make prototypes and small series?
Yes. Guret makes single prototypes and small series as well as repeat series, on the same machines.
Do you paint and assemble?
Yes. We powder coat in-house in any RAL colour, press in fasteners and mount mechanical sub-assemblies before packing.
Where is the plant?
In Brignais, in the Rhône, about 15 km south-west of Lyon, with quick access to the A7 and A45 motorways.
